What is asthma?

Asthma is a disease that affects many people around the world. When inflammation of the airways (bronchi) become inflamed, causing breathing difficulties. Air is taken, but due to the production of mucus and inflammation of the breathing tube, it is difficult to release the air outlet. Many factors can cause an asthma episode, including: power, cigarette smoke, dust, and often allergies. When inhaled by an asthmatic condition can cause problems. Some symptoms that may develop include: chest tightness, shortness of breath, wheezing or whistling sound when breathing, coughing, or chest.

Asthma is a chronic disease that affects the airways. Asthma is defined simply as reversible airway obstruction. Asthma attacks are characterized by breathlessness, chest tightness, wheezing and coughing caused by narrowed airways and inflamed. Some people may experience these symptoms all the time and others may be normal between attacks. What causes inflammation of the airways very sensitive and tend to react strongly to things that are allergic or irritant. When the airways react, they get narrower and less air flows through the tissue of the lungs. The signs of an episode of asthma are wheezing, rapid breathing (tachypnea), prolonged expiration, a rapid heartbeat (tachycardia), pulmonary rhonchous voice (audible through a stethoscope), and chest during inflation. Asthma attacks are not all equal, some more than others.In a severe asthma attack, the airways can close so that is not enough oxygen to vital organs. This condition is a medical emergency. People can die from a severe asthma attack.
